The Centre for Liveable Cities will conduct executive programmes for local and overseas policy makers, to build up capabilities in public agencies to promote an integrated approach to managing liveability and sustainable development issues. The Centre is currently developing a Milestone Programme targeted at local senior policy makers in Ministries and Statutory Boards related to the key aspects of urban development and management. The Milestone Programme is targeted to be launched in year 2009. Building on the Milestone Programme, the Centre will also develop a Flagship Executive Programme targeted at senior public sector officials and policy makers, i.e. Mayors/Governors from the region.
